Panasonic battery common troubleshooting
When we use Panasonic batteries, there will be some small faults. More on the following, we will explain the common faults and treatment methods of the batteries. Is it easy to encounter those faults in the use of the soup batteries?
The general fault handling of the battery includes: the voltage balance deviates from the normal range (observed after forced equalization), the float current is abnormal (check whether the battery cell voltage is abnormal, whether the battery is hot), and the verification discharge (after charging) The hourly rate or the 3-hour rate capacity determines whether the capacity is insufficient. The safety valve seeps out the liquid (not leaking inside the battery).
When a charged battery is stored for a long period of time, its capacity will gradually decrease and become a discharge state. This phenomenon is called self-discharge, and this phenomenon is unavoidable. Even if the battery has not been used, it will cause self-discharge due to chemical and electrochemical reactions inside the battery. The self-discharge of lead-acid batteries is now described as follows:
A. Chemical factors, whether active materials of the male (PbO2) or the negative (Pb), need to be decomposed or gradually reacted with sulfuric acid (electrolyte) to convert to a more stable lead sulfate. This process is self-discharge.
B. Electrochemical factors Due to the presence of impure substances, a local circuit or a redox reaction with the two poles is formed inside the battery, causing self-discharge. The energy battery electrolyte has a very low impurity content, so the self-discharge amount is very small, which is due to the super-strong retention characteristics of the battery.
(2) The self-discharge of the battery is closely related to the storage temperature.
The Panasonic battery should be charged immediately after discharge. Do not leave the battery for a long time after discharge. If the unused battery is left for a period of time, it should be recharged until the capacity returns to the level before storage.
